Creative writing workshop:
Earth Story

Dates will be shared soon

We are story folk. We listen to story, we share story, we live story.

Regardless of how often we consciously engage with it, story is in our bones and in our ancestry.

Story moves us.

As we journey together in increasing eco-awareness, I invite you to join me in exploring Earth Story.

What is Earth Story?

Earth Story belongs to each of us, and to us all. It is the story of our journey through life. As nature. As flesh and bones emerging from the womb into the web of life – into connection with a living earth pulsing with rhythm and renewal.

It is the story of the ecological self. The connected self. It is the story we carry within us, and the one we continue to live, create, and share as kin.

Earth Story lies hidden within the tales we tell of our lives and work. It is the quiet undercurrent beneath our stories of achievement, struggle, or change. It lives in our senses and our awareness – in the feeling of water on skin, the warmth of the sun, the call of an owl at night, the scent of rain on dry earth.

I warmly invite you to reflect on, recall and (if you wish) write your Earth Story.

This workshop – the first in a series of Earth Story offerings – will be a gently guided, two-hour creative writing process; an invitation to pause and breathe in a beautiful space, and bring to awareness the many ways in which the natural world has touched and shaped your life, and how your life has, in turn, touched the wider web of life.

If it feels right to do so (entirely your choice), we may listen, too, for the threads of Earth Story that connect us all.

Minimum number of participants: 6

No writing experience needed. This process is simply a doorway to the story within.

Please register your interest below. Dates and further details will be confirmed soon.
